Studio Restaurant Tundra brings you the freshness of northern nature on a plate. We work in harmony with the cycle of nature, and our menus vary according to the seasons and available ingredients.

The Tundra taste originates in the ruggedly beautiful Finnish wilderness. Locally harvested wild food such as game and fish, forest fruit, and wild mushrooms are in the focus in our kitchen. Tundra’s exquisite dinners are artistic experiences, each a balanced combination of scent, flavour and form.

Tundra’s owner and host, Chef and Ceramic Artist Jarmo Pitkänen is a man of multiple talents. In the downstairs studio he makes his line of ceramic tableware and interior design pieces, well-suited for gifts or souvenirs.

Studio Restaurant Tundra is open by reservation only for groups (4–30 people). We are located in Kuusamo, Finland, 15 minutes by car from the airport and 25 minutes from Ruka Holiday Resort.
